The Caroline Scott Harrison Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was founded in Indianapolis on February 21, 1894, and named after the First Lady of the United States of America, and first President General of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.

Today the non-profit, non-political Society boasts over 185,000 members and approximately 3,000 chapters across the United States and around the world. The NSDAR is a volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children.

For over 125 years, Caroline Scott Harrison chapter members have been active at the local, state, and national levels. Being the largest chapter in Indiana with over 450 members, and having over 55 active chapter committees, there is a place for everyone.
